Radio Noise?

I have a 06 mt non nav and I have noticed what sounds like radio noise, like if you dont have an amp grounded the right way. I only here this on the highway when I am on the throtle.

Anybody else hear this?

TSX engine whistle, engine whine, radio whine, high pitch, whistleing, whistl, whinni

rbtsx,

At first I was going to use the standard "please use search" response, but I am sitting in a slow moving meeting so I had time to use search tool on azine using "whistling" as the search word.
The problem is that the sound is described with many different terms (and mispellings)*. So this topic has been covered extensively since the 04 intro. There are a few theories, maybe even a final solution-but honestly I haven't read them all. my take is in summary is that we are hearing an inherent engine sound. You can read through them all to see what makes you most comfortable. Editorial comment: I think it is not a mechanical or design issue. Agreed it would be great if the sound was NOT there, but engines make noise- I can live with that, whether it was the cam gears or chains on my moto or this whining sound- but that is me. I have the sound too, usually high speeds, whether the stereo is ON or OFF. but it was there with stock stereo and after amp upgrade.

So the reading list:
annoying engine sound
whistling noise, part duex
whistle
High pitch whistling noise problem with tsx 2004
Whistleing noise...help...
Whistling noise coming from the engine

*TSX engine whistle, engine whine, radio whine, high pitch, whistleing, whistl, whinning, engine noise, strange whine, speaker noise, alternator, alternater, altornator, whiene, hi pitched sound, high pitched sound ....etc.

Furthermore, we have an Audio & Video forum where its possible that this has been discussed. Try searching the Audio & Video forum for this problem and/or post this question there too.

After reading the thread about the high pitch whistle noise for the 2004, I've concluded it's normal.

I have a 2004 Acura TL that has soft static on the rear speaker/s when the vehicle is cold such as after a cold night. The static goes away after about 5 minutes of the engine running. I discovered that the static also disappears when the ignition is turned off and the radio is operating off the battery only. The selected audio source doesn't make a difference. I also get the static if I engage the bluetooth phone system. I can't figure out what part is defective. I would love to find out a solution if someone has figured this out. This only started happening this past year, so this is not "normal" noise.
