Radio Lights Question! Please Help!!

I just purchased my 2004 TSX. Tonight i noticed all the radio and climate buttons are not lit. As i was driving they started dimming in and out, but nothing like they should. I read online something about the pcb circuit board or something. I was wondering if i just buy a used radio and replace the whole thing will that solve my problem?? Or is the PCB completely separate from the radio itself. I do not want to go through the pcb hassle and would just like to buy another radio.

Welcome to the forum.

This was a common problem for the 2004 Acura TSX. The problem got rectified for later years. I believe the warranty got extended to 100,000 miles on this part because the problem was so prevalent. You may be able to take it to the dealer and they may do it for free or for a reduced price.

Below appears the service bulletin on this issue. Good luck.
