R1 concepts, brakes?

Just about to place an order for the r1 concepts, R1 Concepts (Premium Cross-Drilled - Slotted) rotors and posi quiet, either ceramic, extended wear or semi metallic. Any recommendations? for all 4 rotors and brakes it comes out to like $400 shipped which is a great price, since i don't really want to spend too much and the reviews I've read online have all been great.

I like mine, ceramics can be noisy at times.

Why not go with Brakemotive for about 1/2 the price and has the same reputation (both very good)?

They're a sponsor of the site, or you can find them on eBay. I've had 'em for over a year and their performance and quality has been excellent, as has the customer service.

I've had great service with the rotors and pads. Rotors and rear pads went on over 2 yrs ago and have over 50K miles on those, front pads have about 25K on them. Rotors are still warp free, and the whole package has been quite as a church; no noise what so ever. But... the package has increased in price quite a bit I see. I paid less than $300 shipped a little over two years ago. Would buy again though, and probably will since my wife's 07 is just about ready (90K on the OE brakes!).

Brakemotive is an option but i've read great things about r1 concepts. Any suggestions on which brakes i should go with that they offer?

I got EBC rotors for around 400 bucks, and way better brake.

They may be, but says who? Have you put a ton of of miles and time on both so you can compare? If that's your opinion, then identify it as such and perhaps say why. Without some context, comments like the one in your post have little value to the conversation (IN MY OPINION).

$400 for rotors alone? Brakemotive (and a few other options) have packages of rotors AND pads for under $300, and hey, guess what, they work VERY well!

I have R1 concepts rotors on three different cars in the family and they are still holding up. No warps, very solid construction and quality! I would definitely go for R1 concept rotors again. I went with the blank rotors as it was more practical and long lasting than drilled/slotted rotors.

Very good customer service, fast shipping, and free shipping for orders over $150.
