Polarized Sunglasses & Tint
Is this normal?
I bought a new pair of polarized Oakley sunglasses on Saturday. I hopped in my car and looked out of the side windows and was like "what the hell?!?!". I looked through the windshield and everything was fine so I knew it was something with the tint. Apparently, the tint(formula one pinnacle) and polarized lens allow me to see the light spectrum or something. So when looking out any window with the sunglasses, I see a wave of colors. Also, it projects the same colors onto any other glass surface so other cars windows and windshields are very colorful. It doesn't bother me too much but thought I'd ask. I'm not sure if its just the type of tint I have or all tint.

It only has to do with the polarized sunglasses. I learned it from my father who is a pilot for the airlines. They can't wear polarized sunglasses in the cockpit because of the tinting and multiple layers of glass. The glasses polarization accepts waves in a different way than normal sunglasses which gives the 'enhanced' look if you may call it that, but the tinting disrupts the natural flows of the waves, in turns separating the spectrum when looking through anything other than just your glasses. I realize this was somewhat answered in everyone else's response, but I just felt like adding my two cents worth.
