people are always flashing there high beams at me

Is it just me or does anyone else experiance this at night? i will have people flash their high beams at me, im assuming its because they think i have mine on, ive had friends tell me that my lights are bright compared to their cars when they are driving with me. i thought maybe my headlights might be adjusted to high dont know what to think.

I occasionally get people flashing me. I checked my headlight alignment and it's fine, I guess some people think they are high beams.

I would check your headlight alignment, the driver side should be a tad lower than the passenger side as it is meant to be that way so that it doesn't blind oncoming traffic.

If your beams are aligned, then not your fault. Plenty of people out there that don't know what HID's or Xenon's are.

Yeah, funny when they realize you aren't using your high beams.

the only time I have that done is when I forget to turn off the high beams. The highways of NC can get extremely dark as street lights are scarce.

I don't have this problem around the city because folks are use to seeing HID. When I visit the inlaws in the eastern part of the state (lots of american cars and trucks) I get flashed all the time.

When I leave the inlaws, I travel during the day because I get tired of flashing folks back 40 times for 2 1/2 hrs.

Yea I got flashed on stock headlights. Some people just don't know the difference between HID and an actual high beam. Don't worry about them. By the time they flash you they are already long gone.

hey,
Yeah, people flash their high beams at me from time to time. Especially when I am going up hill and they are coming down that hill, because of the angle. Its a shocker to them when I flash mine back. I feel its just because they are so much brighter than most.
