Outside trunk release problem

My first post, so please be kind. We own an 04 TSX. Love this car, but one thing that has malfunctioned and is bothering me: the rear trunk release button no longer works. The inside lever by the drivers seat works, the remote control trunk release button works. Just not the one located on the trunk. This is an inconvenience as I am not the primary driver and makes me unlock the door and then use the inside lever. The outside button used to work when the doors were unlocked. Now it doesn't. Any ideas? Our dealer is a ways away and they seem to have been no help with previous issues. I am hoping for an easy fix here. Thank you

Okay, I went and checked. Unless I am blind, there is no switch of any sort in the glove box. I also checked the manual and there is no mention of a glove box switch for the trunk. The manual says there are three ways to open the trunk: remote key entry button, inside lever and the "trunk release button under the A logo on the trunk" It is this button that has ceased working. I had once removed the glove box to fix a rattle and I don't ever remember seeing any sort of switch. This is an 04 TSX. Maybe they changed with newer model?

It's the same place with the 04. You gotta get your head down to the glove box level once the glove box door is open to see the switch (located on the top left corner). Put the switch on. (This is assuming the switch is off and this is why you can't open the trunk by pressing the button underneath the "A").

just to verify, you are pressing the unlock button on the remote twice? if you press it once it unlocks just the drivers door. the second time you press it, it unlocks the rest of the doors and the trunk.

Thank you, guys!!! Indeed once I stopped being blind, and you folks pointed out where that switch is, that was the problem. I am guessing I accidentally hit that switch to off when I removed the glove box for the rattle. Thank you all again!!!! So, after the fact I got out the manual (again) and checked under both trunk release and glove box sections and there is nothing that I can see at all about this switch. Seems sort of odd they wouldn't mention that in the manual.
