Angry OMG my FOGLIGHT!!

OKay so i was doing a walk around of my car, cuz its just so hot , and I saw that my Foglight was cracked. Not only cracked, but there was a frickin HOLE in it! Like someone took a hammer to it (not likely), or a rock hit it (more likely).

Anyways I dont know what else to do besides buy a new one.....so i guess where is the best place to go???? and are there any cool MODS for this???

It hurts to post this

I dont even think 3M would have helped a direct hit like that.

Honestly, unless its really ugly and many people will notice (not likely although since its your car you might think it sticks out like there was a big arrow pointing to it), what I'd do is leave it.

Why? Because I guarantee it'll happen again.

Another board search found this thread:

Did you end up buying the lens like moda_way suggested?

I'm freaked about my fogs busting... I'm considering the mesh guard job since the clear bras all seem to brown... argh!

Hey, I think it was broken when you stopped by my place. I didn't say anything because I figured you knew already. Sorry man. If it makes you feel any better, I broke one even with the 3M guard stuff on mine.

no i havent got the lense yet but thats what im going to have to do. Doesnt make sense to buy a whole new foglight if the lense is just broke.....add it to the "to do" list! :-P I do like the smoked effect of the 3M though!

I bought roadblocker for my fogs. I have the yellow film.

I notice today that there is an impact spot on my right fog. I'm 100% sure without roadblocker the lens would have cracked or break.

I recommend roadblockers.

I know sometimes a direct hit would still crack the fog but you'r reducing the chances w/ roadblocker.

i think they really need to reinforce the lens on the foglight.. they should use the same material as the tsx headlight.

Supposing I have an 06 ( i do ) and a rock takes out my stock fog light... is that covered under warranty? I imagine not... wear and tear etc.

This is my first new car and I've never had anything with less that 100,000 miles on it so the concept of a warranty is still foreign to me. I can't wait to use it for the first time for some sadistic (masochistic?) reason.
