OEM Brakes Findlex

Hi All,

I had a heck of a time installing the new OEM pads on the rear of my TSX. The slider tips of the pads seemed to be a bit too much and I was worried they would seize so I shaved a little off of the top to get them to move freely. The one thing I always thought the pads were made from were Nissin. This is the first time in some 20 years I had an issue installing OEM pads with an issue. I am wondering if the dealer somehow flipped these or is this the new replacement for Nissin? I was also thinking if I should spray-paint the exposed metal that I had to file with a grinder?

Thanks

Any pics? Something doesn't sound right.
What is the part number of the pads?

Nissin is a brake component manufacturer and is not Nissan the auto manufacturer.

In my post I did mention Nissin (the pad manufacture), I thought it was odd seeing FindLex. I have them already installed so no pics but the part number was what is expected 43022-S84-A51. It's just odd that these pads have stamped on them FindLex. They do look like the OEM pad material that Honda generally uses but who knows. Also the inner shim pad isn't in there any more. I remember having it on both sides in the past.
