Exclamation noise from fan in ventilation

Have you guys even heard the fan inside the ventilation making noise when you turn on the climate control? the noise kindda like a glinding/spinning noise while the fan is rotation but it is gone once the system is on for a min or so.... I just wonder whether it is just a lubrication issue or something is more serious behind....

The yr of mine is 05 w/ 31K km.

Thanks for any comments!!

I have a slight one, but with the road noise from my summer and winter tires, I don't even notice it.

Often a small leaf or piece of debris will find it's way down into the blower motor fan "cage" and will cause a flutter/hum/grinding type noise that will vary depending on how it happens to be oriented and/or fan speed.

Really no way to know for sure without dropping the blower motor out to inspect it.

Unless you start to hear a high pitched shrill from it, I wouldn't be too concerned.

Ok... It seems the problem is getting serious. I knew that when the Climate Control start running, ocassionally the fan that blow the cold air or warm air may cause some sort of noise, not really at high pitch, but it is some kindda glinding noise. The noise is gone around a minute. But in this morning, the start hearing some sort of similar noise when the fan is at a certain speed, but it seems to be on and off. I thought I was too sensitive but even my colleague who rides with me could hear the same noise. When I parked it at the train station, I start investigate into the source of the noise amd it is coming right behind the center ventilation. The funniest thing is the noise is generating when I step onto the gas pendal and nothing generate while at idel. I wonder whether it is still something to do just on the fan? Or may even something to do with the belt connected with the engine...

Any idea? Have anyone of you even have something similar but got fixed by the dealership?

Thx guys for any of your opionions.

If you're still under warranty I would take it in.

When I pick up my car after work from the train station, I turn on the climate control again and the noise comes back. It sounds like the fan is lacking of lubrication. I used manual mode to turn the fan to the max speed... started smell some sort of burning smell but then the noise is gone... It seems the prob is fixed for now but I guess there is something wrong w/ the parts...... I dunno whether the dealer will fix it if they dun hear the noise...
