No throttle response?

So today my car basically lost all power. I could press the pedal to the floor and it didn't increase revs. The check engine and vsa lights came on. The engine was still running. When in neutral I could rev the engine. I pulled over and turned it off for a bit then back on. The check engine light was still on, and I was able to make it to work, with out losing all power (the roads I was on were side roads so I didn't exceed 35mph if that matters). It was definitely odd though, I had intermittent throttle response.
I have a code reader at home, but doesn't do me any good at the moment.

Anyone have ideas on what it could be?

No updates really, I cleared the code and seems to be running ok right now. If you go to an auto store most will check and reset the codes for free.

Try cleaning the throttle body.

I recently had this happen with my 2005 TSX. I changed the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (~$130 from Amazon) and it cleared all of my issues and the car is much more responsive now. It was pretty much plug & play, but you end up needing to take appart a lot more than you'd think you would! Search the forums, there is a good detailed writeup for a TL which basically is the same.

Here's the part:
