New Rear Bumper Replacement

hey guys my car has been damaged in the rear slightly or extremely depending on what your opinions are.

heres a picture

my rear aspec kit is scratched up also. what do you guys suggest i do? should i just take it to a shop and have them repaint the rear bumper and rear aspec kit? how much do you guys think this would cost me? i found a seller on ebay who sells the 07 OEM rear bumper painted for $640 shipped? do you guys think its worth it to buy it off ebay? heres the link

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/06-07...spagenameZWD1V

if so would i be able to install the rear bumper myself? how would i take off the lower rear aspec kit. just unscrew the screws and rip it off the 3m tape and buy more 3m tape to put it back on? if i wanted to get the rear aspec kit how much would it cost to repaint?

thanks

Ouch....I'd probably just get it repainted. Get a couple quotes from body shops.

1. Get quote from body shop(s)
2. Find out how much a new aspec Rear lip costs ($300?)
3. Add up aspec Rear Lip cost + new painted bumper cost
4. Analyze choices to see which is cheaper

wouldn't painting it and buying a new one be almost the same price?

repainting is not cheap. they usually repaint the whole darn thing. a door panel can cost around 300 bucks.

By the look of the pic you should be able to get away with just getting the whole bar painted.BTW if you buy a new bar it comes unpainted.

whats the bar?

anyways pacman this was from before. surprised you stillr emember this. i have been very busy with school and haven't had time to get this looked at. winter break is coming and i want to narrow down my choices on what i should do. anyways yeah ima start with that option and see which is the best way.

is it possible to get my aspec rear lip painted instead of buying a new one? would it be cheaper?

why wouldn't you be able to get the aspec lip painted

again, to get a solid answer just take it to a body shop. i'm willing to bet it is cheaper to repaint everything than to get new OEM parts.
