I just got my TSX back tonight! You may remember that I reported the following problems:

1. Creaking noise from dashboard/windshield every time I accelerated and decelerated

CAUSE: CENTER CONSOLE

FIX: Removed panels, applied EPT sealer and DC111. Removed one clip and installed a screw.

2. Whistling noise from back passenger window esp. when driving on highway.

CAUSE: RUN CHANNEL

FIX: performed window adj - noise still present; replaced run channel - test drove OK

3. LED display flashing, NAVI audio and CD changer not working

CAUSE: not found!!! But they took it apart and probably reconnected some wires that were loose... at least it's working now!

The car is now really quiet and I just love it!!! Well, let's see if this bliss lasts... I surely hope so!

I have a creaking sound too on my dashboard but it looks like its temperature related. From a cold start and under 10 degrees in NYC, everytime I hit a bump, I hear a creaking sound around the dashboard steering wheel area. But once the cabin is heated up with the climate control set to defrost mode, the creaking disappeared.

Just an update for everyone: just as I feared, the creaking noise from the dashboard/windshield has come back! However, this time it is not as bad as before. Otherwise, the car is perfect now, without any additional wind noise since the run channel has been replaced, and the NAVI is running just great. Anyway, I am just going to wait until I have the car serviced next time to have them look into this creaking noise problem again.

Hey Ostrich,
Try this for your windshield crackling noise:
Windshield Crackling Noise - by PBN

I'm now 3 days into it without crackling noise, and a happy camper. Hope this works for you too!

Thanks, TSXChef - I already tried that suggestion by PBN before and it didn't work in my case... I surely wished it did!

Hey Guys.................I'm hoping that Acura gets the message concerning all of these little annoyances that all of you are having with your TSX's and starts addressing the problems on the assembly line and not after they are in the hands of an owner.
