My car is falling apart!!! =(

Okay, lately.. my TSX has been really on my nerves.. I think its falling apart slowly.. I dont know what to do anymore.. eRrr.. someone HELP!

1. I dropped my car about 1/2 inch lower a couple of months ago ( didn't get it aligned after.. my fault ).. switched out my 19's and slapped back on my stockies... ran just fine.. no troubles... 2weeks ago.. I slapped back on my 19's .. drove it on the freeway.. noticed my steering wheel started to shimmy at around 55-65mph... it started to shake so hard.. i had to pull over on the next exit.. scared the shizz out of me.. i got it aligned the following day.. unfortunately they couldnt do much cause my rear camber ( -3.2 & -4.0 ) was really bad .. ( yes, i know... camber kit..already on order. ) they couldn't adjust the toes because they said it'll only make my tires wear out faster.. my camber isnt much of my problem .. the shimming is whats really worrying me. Could my camber contribute to the shimming? Someone also told me that my rotors could be warped also? What could be causing this?...and what should I do??

2. I've been a loyal Chevon customer since I got my TSX in 2004, but lately Ive switch. For a month now I've been filling my car with Shell V-Power instead..I noticed this past weekend when I started my car up in the morning.. there was this smell coming out of my exhaust..I dont think it smelled like eggs.. It was like a chemical smell... Ive never had this problem before...it goes away after a while though.. Ive noticed it twice this week ...What could it be and whats causing it?..

3. My damn Flexes are sqeaking!

Gawd I sound like a desperate mega noob asking all this.. I'd really appreciate your guys help..

i really recommend you get your car checked by an acura dealership to see what the problem is for #1, maybe itll be covered under warranty

the smell most likely is normal, just give it some time and itll disappear, same happened to me after i filled up when i first got the car

hopefully someone might be able to help you out with #3

1. You already answered your question (camber kit), but your tires are screwed from the excessive toe and camber. You'll need to buy new ones. If it was warped rotors, it would only happen under braking. You could have a host of things (bearings and what not) prematurely warn due to the gangstered geometry you've put your car under without the camber kit.

2. Odd smell after startup is nothing new. Odd smells after running for a while, something to look into. Doesn't sound like you have any issues.

Not to sound like a broken record or even hateful, but your car is the way it is because of not doing all the necessary stuff when you modded it. If you do mods right, you won't have problems like the majority of us. Good luck getting everything repaired and keep us updated when everything is fixed.

1a) Balanced your wheels lately?
1b)Check your stored tires for bulges?

2) What Moda said

3) Flexes? What flexes? Flex disc? Flex disc are on RWD cars.

1) agree, get your wheels balanced... or, did you put your hub centric rings back on with your 19"? That would be the easiest reason you're getting shaking, and wheel not centered on the hub will cause lots of problem. Its definately not a warped rotor if it happens even when you're not braking

3) Tein Flex is what he means. Squishing is normal AFAIK, its the shocks working. If its a real squeeking, but maybe something is binding or rubbing.

That camber kit and balancing should do it as all others say.
your gas is prolli nothing, smell like Moda said is normal, but FYI Shell uses a lot more chemical cleaners in their Vpower gas.

Thanks guys,. When I went in to get my car aligned after the shimming happend, they noticed that only one of my rear tires needed to be re-blanced, so that got fixed...Im affraid to take it into an Acura dealership with the agressive drop that I currently have ... I know Im gona get a big lecture from my service advisor.. Id also wanted to know if I should keep the my car garaged till I get some things fixed.. its my daily driven. Im going to wait till my camber kit gets in, and raise my car back up a bit.. then see if the problem still persist...

NOOOOOO! Get your baby fixed!

How much of a drop do you have? I have 1.9F + 1.6R. I'm very thankful for not getting Teins since so many people have the squeaking problem, that would annoy the hell out of me. Hope you get everything worked out bro!

Yeah, don't garage it. The worst now that will happen is you wear the tires down. Good news is, those are easily replaced.

Screwed up rubber, uneven wear = need new tires

Warpped rotors = new rotors + breaks all around

should fix shimmy.

Yeah, I was advised by Mr.Heeltoe that my rotors may be warped as well.. I ordered new drilled/slotted oem fit rotors.. and just waiting for my camber kit. Anyone got suggestion what sort of breakpads I should get?.. or new oem breakpads are good enough?

the chemicals i mentioned aren't a bad thing, they stop build up that you get everytime you run the car. Just saying it could cause to a smell, I used V power on all my cars... nothing wrong, I did notice on my old car 1990 when I started using it after my first empty it started to breath differently in a good way though. So I am guessing its good

combo drill and slot are bad. One or the other, usuallt slotted because drilled can cause warpage.

I have the Buddy Club coilovers, they squeak too when I go over speed bumps at a fairly slow speed. Is that normal?
