muffler tips

muffler tips

i was trying to change my muffler tips today but i notice that the stock ones are somehow glued(?) onto the muffler. IF you guys know how to take it off plz help me out with this. thx

There should just be a bolt holding the tips. I am not aware of any glue.

By the way, welcome to the boards, another teenager. What kind of muffler tips did you buy...and how come no catback exhaust?

I broke one of mine putting my OEM kit on, that was a major PITA. Definately spray some anti-rust on it first

i don't want my car to be all noisy which is why i didn't want to put the catback exhaust on my car..

.. why not go with an exhaust .. wouldn't tips look cheesy? got pix? i could be wrong ..
