Moonroof vibration...?

Is anyone else experiencing this?

When I have the moonroof open the front wind deflector vibrates. If I touch it, it stops for maybe 10 or 20 seconds and then starts up again. It happens on the highway. It is moving side to side just enough to change the air flow. It just started a week ago. I have my moonroof open any chance I get, so it's open often.

Sign me up brother - that black thing at the front shakes pretty good - At first I thought it was cuz I had the front windows closed, but happened with all combinations of windows open/closed at highway speeds - don't think there is anything that can be done about it - Mods will prolly move this thread to problems forum...

Yes we will move it

I have actually been kinda looking/listening for this as my '01 CL-S used to have a very bad resonating to deal with the wind deflector and used to vibrate a ton and eventually would make a thumping sound from it. Eventually Acura released a TSB and replacement part (one that didn't leave a wind pocket gap).

So far my TSX defector has been solid

I have that problem too, somewhere around 40mph then again around 100mph. Obviously I'm less concerned about the 100mph.

Yes, It's right at 40 mph! I haven't had it at 100 mph but I'm sure you are correct.

Sorry for put it in the wrong place... I should know better...

I have mine open all the time. But I have not noticed any noises except for the wind. I keep listening for it just in case.

Moonroof vibration

The black wind deflector in front of my moonroof just started to vibrate. Has anyone found a fix for this? Like most, if I put my hand on it, it will stop for about 10 seconds and start again. It is really annoying.

i'm not sure if my problem applies to this what you're talking about. My moonroof creaks when it's closed, especially when I go over uneven roads, sounded like the roof is "twisting" a bit. I took it to dealer and they put this thing piece of plastic around the edges of the moonroof, it stopped the creaking for a while, then the noise comes back again. Already went to the dealer twice for this problem, now it's starting again, gonna take it in next week and see what they have to say about it, will keep you posted.

I sometimes get that creaking sound from the moonroof as well.
