My tail lights are slightly misaligned... The ones on the side jut out a bit more than those on the trunk lid. It's sort of the same on the other side but to a lesser extent.

Should I even be bothered by this?

 

I wouldn't. I am guessing that the tail lights aren't aligned because the trunk is not properly aligned. Shortly after realizing my trunk is slightly mis-aligned I walked the Acura dealer lot and noticed most new TSXs have mis-aligned trunks. You have to be anal to notice, but once you do... The dealer admitted the problem and offered to send it to a body shop under warranty; I declined.

 

Does this occur on both sides or just the passengers side of the car?

 

Yes, but to a lesser extent, it doesn't jut out as much. It's not visibly apparent unless you take a close look (which I've done ).
