Milano Red Paint

The paint on my 2004 Milano Red TSX started to fade badly in spots. I complained to Acura headquarters and they were prompt to provide financial assistance to get the car repainted.

I own a 06 Milano red tsx. It is garage kept and I wash and use quick detailer often. I am surprised Acura would offer to help repaint your car. As others said red is one of the colors that fades easy. Would be nice if you posted pictures so we could see it.

Milano Red Paint

Acura picked up 75% of the tab to have my 2004 TSX Milano Red repainted. How do I upload an image to this site showing how bad it had faded in spots?

Is this a frigin joke??? Your car is almost 7 years old and Acura paid 75% of the cost to repaint it without even seeing it!?! How do they know if you just don't take care of your car at all (I'm not saying you don't, just hypothetical) and that's why the paint has faded?

My NBP looks absolutely f*cking disgraceful with all the swirls and waves in the paint and I baby that thing like no other. AND it's a 2008 with only 34K on it. You're telling me I can go to my dealer and show them my shit paint and they'll pick up 75% to repaint it?

Hmm, very suspect post by the OP with only 2 posts.

With an expired warranty, this is highly unlikely. You should prove everyone wrong by scanning and posting the work order reciept from the Acura dealership.

I had a San Marino Red Prelude sh and honda told me to wax this car at least twice a year as there is no base/clear on tafetta wht/milano red/san marino red. Have you guys by now not seen all the faded milano red integras around..lol. It always starts on spoiler (turns pink). Once it starts, it's hard to stop so folks don't be lazy and take the time to care for your investment or you'll get a crappy return when it's time to sell/trade.

I am not joking. I put this out there because I wanted to help other Acura owners with that Milano red paint. Some of that paint was defective. And Acura should help customers repaint their cars. It is unusual for a car to fade in spots or swirls.

I'm interested in what exactly you said to Acura and their exact response was. My '05 MR is starting to fade on the trunk lid and a bit on the roof...
