After 30 K on the odometer, I' ve given this car every chance to redeem itself. It has not. I've gone through two sets of rear hubs and wheel bearings, a new set of rotors after being resurfaced at 10K, new door panel to knock out rattles, buzzing speakers, rattles all over the damn place... I still love this car.

Most recently, my remote controls were not able to unlock the car. I was only able to unlock the car manually, tripping the alarm. Drove the car to the dealer with the alarm armed, opened the door to get out in the service bay, and noises woke up the whole dealership ! The dealer is very good. (I'm sure they'll read this) They always seem to set me up with a new loaner, but I'm getting tired of this. I've never had problems like this with my 5 previous Hondas.

It's so bad that I may let go of the car. Only problem is that it has 30 K on it. So not worth very much. Anyone have any advice ? Whats a 6MT without Navi worth in pristine shape ? I'm thinking about approaching the sales manager to let him know that this is probably a bad car. Perhaps I can get into a new one for a good deal. We'll see. Hope others have better luck.

 

Unless the dealer can't fix a certain problem the lemon law won't help you. It sounds like you had all different problems - a rarity for a Honda.
Be glad all of this is not happening out of warranty. As long as you get loaners and the dealer fixes everything just keep the car. It has already taken a big hit as far as depreciation and won't drop as fast in the future. The next time you are the dealer you can ask - they'll have a good number for a trade in value.
