Lost control while driving momentarily
Hi All,
I was driving my TSX and while taking an exit on the ramp car started sliding side ways. It rained for the past few days and there was a slight drizzle how ever there is not a lot of water to cause hydroplaning. My tires were not that old and lot of thread left on them.
Took it to a mechanic shop and they inspected it and said the ball joints and the tie rod ends needs to be replaced. The mechanic showed me the ball join bushing (rubber sleeve is torn on multiple ball joints). Also when he wiggled the tire by holding it at 3'o clock and 6'clok on the passenger right side there is some play.
Quoted me around $600 for both replacing ball joint and tie rod ends. Wheel alignment anther 130 extra.
Hope that is reasonable pricing. Appreciate any inputs.
Thanks
