The light with the triangle and exclamation point flashed on and off. What happened?
2006 AT Acura TSX
This happened to be twice. Both in the same day.
The first time it happened, it had just stopped raining, the roads were wet, and I was at a red light. When it turned green, I stepped on the gas pedal and my car jolted a couple times and the light flashed on and off about 3 times. ONLY THAT LIGHT CAME ON. Nothing else.
The second time it happened, I was angling out of a driveway (the roads were dry now), and to try and beat the next car coming, I accelerated pretty hard out of the driveway and the same thing happened again. My car jolted and the light flashed on and off.
I've owned my TSX for over 2 years, and this is the first time this has ever happened. I read somewhere that it could be the transmission? I really have no idea. Any opinions?
This happened a couple days ago, and it hasn't happened since.

VSA (vehicle stability assist) activated. The reasons it activates are complex and are probably only known completely by the engineers of the system. But simply, you lost traction (the RPMs of the engine, the RPMs of a wheel got out of some normal range). When this happens, the light is turned on, the engine RPMs are probably reduced, braking is applied to various wheels to get "vehicle stability" back.
The reason this has recently happened (and not before) is possibly that your tires are more worn and offer less traction.
