Lets find a better source for replacement fog light assemblies

After being stung by the unbelievable cost of replacing the delicate fog light units, which seam to be only available at the dealer, I decided to try to find another source for these replacements.

I took my unit out and cleaned it up and got all the numbers/markings off the unit and found they are made by STANLEY INDUSTRIES, in JAPAN.

Markings are:

STANDLEY 1240R
21136B

OK, does anyone have a connection to importing parts in direct from this Japan manufacture? Maybe we can do a group purchase, or I guess I could eBay them out... anything to stop the menice...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The factory (Stanley Industries- Japan) has responded back saying they will only sell to Honda for this part. Anyone with any other ideas?

I thought only the lens was a problem with easily being cracked, didn't know the assembly was an issue.
