Firestone service center lifetime all-wheel alignment?
Firestone service center lifetime all-wheel alignment?
I'm getting some strange suspension noise lately, whenever I hit a bump, I don't get the solid sound any more, instead I get more of a hollow sound, and it seems that the suspension bounces more often during rebound... I'm not sure how to describe it.
Anyway, I'm suspecting that it might be an alignment issue so a friend recommended doing the lifetime wheel-alignment at the Firestone service centers for $139.99 (regularly $150). You can do alignment at any Firestone and as often as you want (within reasonable limits of course), as long as the car's VIN and owner match what they have on file at time of purchase. In other words, I already get my money's worth after two alignments. I'm planning to do it around twice a year if I get it.
Question is, has anyone done this, and do they do a good job?

I done for my 1999 Prelude - have already used it 10 times no questions asked. Definitely makes the tires last longer. Got 45000 miles off of my Bridgestone RE-730s and still have tread life. I usually do it twice a year.
