Left hid wont turn on
i installed new after marker hid bulbs on my lights and it worked fine for about a month when suddenly my left hid went out. I dont have a kit on these and im thinking this might be the problem. My fuses keep blowing. I bought a new hid and it still wont turn on. Is this possibly a bad ballast? or is it the fuses or a bad ground?? plz help

With the fuses blowing, it sounds like a bad ground/short. ...and since those rarely happen by themselves or without assistance, I would check the aftermarket bulbs you installed first. Maybe the left one has an internal part that is short circuiting, or perhaps a connection is grounding. (If it's not obvious, you can track it down quickly with an ohm meter/multitester from Radio Shack.)

Current draw may be high enough to melt wiring insulation or connector body at some point and cause a short to body ground. Check wiring carefully and go back to OEM bulbs if overload is the problem.

how do you switch bulbs without troubleshooting....
1> switch your bulbs from side to side....so put your left bulb on the right hand side and vice versa....if the problem switches side your bulb is gone....if the problem stays time to troubleshoot your ballast/igniter...
2> Repeat the same with your ballast....if the problem switches side then its your ballast, else its your igniter....
3> check for corrosion/water damage/etc on the ballast....
4> check the fuses/ground connections etc
