LED problem

hey everyone
i installed LED bulbs like 2 months ago in my TSX and they were working fine until yesterday when the pass side map and the rear dome light went out

does anyone know if its the bulbs or fuse?
also, i bought them from superbrightleds, is there any warranty on the bulbs?

the bulbs are the 9LED ones

thanks a lot

I'd suggest tossing in the oem lights you swapped out, or if you threw them out go down to autozone and get a replacement. If those lights work then it'd point to faulty LEDs. If not then it's time to try replacing the fuse or inspect the housing.

no clue on the warranty issue. good luck.

The first thing I'd do is check the fuse. Easy and quick fix if it's blown. It wierd they would both go at the same time.

Follow dj Dozhe's advice.

As for warranty, if you still have the receipt, I believe they warranty their products for 1 yr with proof of purchase. They did last time I checked.

Hello,

Three out of four of my LEDs just went out today which I had bought from superbrightleds about 3 months ago. I've previously already replaced one in the rear dome, and I now have to replace both + 1 front map light. I currently only have 1 working front map light in the entire cabin. Is this a normal thing for LEDs? I'm figuring that there's too much current being applied to these things and it just quickly burns them out. I'm gonna order another set and give them another shot, if not I'm just gonna switch back to the normal boring bulbs

I haven't had any LEDs on the festoons go out, but I have had color inconsistency. Again, if you have the receipts from superbrights.com, I believe they warranty them for 1 year.

I also got mine from tec toyz and have had no problems. I leave my setting on "door" instead of "off" and never have an issue with it. It is a commonly stated issue that when set to "off" it lets off a small amount of light.

Please understand this means that if set to "door" they will turn on when the doors open, and then completely turn off when the doors are shut. When set to "off" they never turn on completely, but instead stay on at a low level.

That being said, I love my LEDs (blue 9LED setup), and I've gotten compliments from both my friends and my parents.
