I have had my 2004 TSX for almost 6.5 years now. But about 3 weeks ago I picked up a strange knocking and pinging noise in the engine.

I have seen many posts from people with the same problem. Does anyone know what TSB was published that covered this? I am taking my car to the dealer next week and would like to have something in my hand.

Also, my Navigation system has begun re-booting itself while driving and the system is not tracking worth a crap anymore. I turn and the system doesnt recognize it or it re-boots and comes back up with it 2 miles away. Anyone else having these issues??

 

Are you sure the posts you read on pinging were for the first generation, and not the second? Just asking because I don't recall seeing any threads on pinging in 2004 models, but there is a huge thread on pinging in 2009s, in the 2nd gen section.

 

What changed 3 weeks ago - bad gas maybe?
