Issues with my 1st Gen TSX
Issues with my 1st Gen TSX
05 TSX with 88kms on the clock.
My list of grips with my car at the moment.. anyone living with anything similar?
1. Last few weeks car vibrates a lot when cold.. excessive amount.. enough to shake my keys in the ignition... gets better when warmed up.. but comes on periodically (A/C is off.. so maybe from the rad fans?).. did a search and apparently a lot of guys have this issue. I was starting to think it was due to my switch to Castrol Syntec.. going to try Mobil one next.
2. Never ending slight to medium vibration (steering wheel, dash, driver floor, brake pedal, gas pedal) at highway speeds 110ish.. thats not linked to wheel balance. Acura says front passenger side outer CV joint has some play. Happens on or off the gas. Getting a second opinion.
3. I'm overly paranoid about my auto transmission shifts since the switch from Z1 to new Honda Synthetic DW-1 fluid. The shift from 4-5th seems overly noticeable.. like there is a slight pause when cold. When warm, I find the shift down from 2 to 1 seems overly noticeable.. to the point where the car kinda jerks if I press on the gas while its trying to shift down (rush hour traffic).
