How do I get rid of this?
I just heated mine up with a blow dryer, until it was was warm/hot to the touch and used my fingernail to see if it would budge if not, warm it up more, if so just take it off with a vinyl applicator, or a thin credit card, but soak the area with soapy water, to apply lubricant to prevent scratches, and then buy goo gone, from wal mart to get rid of the glue residue.
That's why I inspect the car for these and tell the dealer to take it off otherwise I don't buy the car. But try the hot dryer and see if that works...I would be a bit afraid of the Goo Gone as you may damage the paint.
I always made the dealer take off their decals-They did it-no problems. I do not mind the license plate frames but stickers are a no-no. Take it back if they are near and ask them to please remove their decal.
As others have said, I always ask the dealer to remove the stick before I take the delivery of the car. When my roommate got his CTS-V there was a sticker on the back he had me take off for him. I used a blow dryer to heat up the sticker and then used the corner of a razor blade to peel up the corner of each sticker (his was a pain because each letter was an individual sticker). Then I used goo gone to get the left over adhesive off. If you dont have a steady hand or trust yourself with a razor then you can try your finger nail. Its really easy to do yo just need to take your time so you don't damage the paint.... good luck.

Go to your nearest automotive store and ask them for the proper remover. I have done this before and although I cannot for the life of me remember what the name of the remover was, it worked really well and did not damage the paint in any way. The auto store employee knew right away what I wanted. They get this question a lot.
