HFL Bluetooth phone connection problem

I currently use a Motorola RAZR phone in my 2006 Acura.

Using voice recognition (HFL) to dial, of 10 calls placed, fully 3 ring through, are picked up at the other end, but no voice connection is made. A redial usually goes through. Annoying!! Especially when trying to demonstrate how cool the system works.

Any one else have the problem??? RAZR specific???

Perhaps a clarification of the problem --

In the car using voice recognition and HFL, when I "dial" a known number - like "HOME", after verifying that I want to dial "Home", I don't hear the phone ringing. At the dialed end, the phone rings, is picked up but is dead. I dial again, I hear the ring and the call goes through.

This happens enough to be very annoying.

Seems like the problem is unique?

Thanks all for your responses.
