Help : Navigation lights very dim.

Hi guys,

My hazard light recently died and i figured that i would replace it myself. ( with this : https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-tsx-2004-2008-124/diy-vsa-moonroof-heater-gear-shift-lights-679654/ )

Long storys short, when i tried to test the light, a burning smell started to happen and my Hvac / navi lights went out. i was like " OH butt-cakes" and checked my fuses. As i thought, the interior light fuse under the hood blew and i went ahead and replaced it. i once went ahead and checked my hvac/navi lights and they were dim... really dim... steering wheel lights are good, same with the moonroof button, and heated seats light. it just seems only the hvac/navi lights were affected.

now anybody know where i could look next ? or would i be looking to replace thedreaded printed circuit board thats plagued the 2004 tsx's?

http://www..com/forums/1st-gen-probl...ights-out.html

any info would be greatly appreciated

thanks guys!

You can try to power up the head unit separately with an external source: that will help in diagnosing if its just the headunit or a fuse/pin issue.

If you power it up with an external source and its still dim, you probably just have to replace the headunit.
