Help - Jammed CD Player

My son was left "free to roam" inside my '05 TSX while I was using the wand wash. Turns out he ejected a couple of CD's from the changer and then manually stuffed them back inside. The CD's are not visible for me to simply use tweezers to pull them out. At this stage, the changer is not working at all and is not selectable as an audio source. I am not able to use the eject or load buttons either. Also, I have tried disconnecting the battery to see if the changer would reset and spit out the CD's, but this did not help.

Has anyone ever had this experience and fixed it, or does anyone know how difficult it is to dismantle the head unit? Thanks.

uh oh. Sorry, I have no ideas for you.

Of all the times you told your son to put away things after he's done playing with them, he had to put it in practice THIS time.

Unfortunately, I think you need a dealer visit. I am also thinking the mechanism might be dead.
