Heated seat switch....

I was trying to find on here if anyone else had this problem, but no luck. My passenger switch light for the heated seat burned out. I took everything appart, and i am not sure if i should replace the whole switch, or just find a way to get inside the switch itself.

The switch works great, it just doesnt light up. I attempted taking the switch appart, but no luck, so i stop messing with it.

My 04 tsx is out of warranty, so I'm on my own.

If you know of any easier way to fix this, lemme know, its bugging me to the extent,
thx,

Maybe the lights just out. Do the seats still heat up?

BTW, to get in there, I'm pretty sure you have to remove the center console trim.

Do the heated seats still work? If yes, it's just a bulb or bulbs burned out inside the switch:

Remove center console trim, unplug switch, use a small flat tip screwdriver to unlock and take out bulb(s), replace with new Honda bulb(s). You do NOT need to disassemble the switch.

If the heated seats don't work, check your fuses.

you've done the hard part; rest is easy. the bulb to light the switch is a little tiny thing on the side of the switch; there are three in a row that unscrew with a v small screwdriver (half a turn will loosen it, then just pull it out. ) the head is blue. the acura dealer wanted $7; i bought the identical one from the honda dealer for half that. (ditto for the cabin filter; same part number at honda and acura but $10 cheaper.)

Its funny how the little things start to happen after the warranty is over.

I have a 04 and mine went out about 200 miles after my warranty expired. I went to the dealer they wanted to charge me $97 to check the electrical not even to replace the bulbs. I did a bit of research and found you just need to take out the center console and replace the bulbs in the switch. I bought the replacement bulbs at the dealer for like $2.50 I think I bought a few extra which came in good use cause my VSA switch bulb went out too.
