Unhappy Head Unit Install Problems

So...I got a new DVD head-unit for my 04 TSX NON NAVI. I am going to mount the unit below the AC/Heat controls.

The mount I am working with needs to be replaced, my shop got me the wrong model. So in the interim until I get my new mount, I wanted to set up the wiring to the new unit.

Today I removed the storage bin, and "ashtray". I installed the wiring harness, and connected it to the head unit. Once all the wiring was done I went to test the head unit, and there was no power going to it. All connections were tested.

Due to lack of day light, I uninstalled the harness, and hooked up my stock unit. Turned the key and the radio would not turn on. Also out are my overhead lights, and all back lights for the radio, and AC/Heat controls.

Any suggestions??

Thank You!!

You might have blown a fuse. Check driver's kick panel or under hood for the corresponding bad fuse(s) and replace. Post some pics when you are done with the install.

Wink @main

That's exactly what it was. Checked em out today and replaced the blown fuse. Didn't think that was the issue cause I check the amp fuse and it was still good. But I learned today that the pOwer to the radio is ran of your interior light fuse...go figure. As soon as I get the instal complete and learn how to post pics will certainly Put some up!!

Thanks for the feedback!!
