Glovebox latch

Having problem opening my glovebox on my 04, its stuck closed and when banging on it, it sometimes opens.
Can the latch be taken apart and replaced? Thanks

Called the dealer and they say there is no latch replacement. The only thing I can do is buy a new glovebox assy, 180.00 cdn.
Has anyone repaired their lock or know where I can get parts?
