Talking getting my headlight replaced, bad condensation

Well, look like my driver side headlight has condensation in it. The dealer will replace the entire headlight unit. To those who had to replace headlight, do they replace the projector len too? Is the projector len part of the headlight unit? I am concerned because 2005 projector len is clear, but the 2006 projector len is frensel (concentric ripple on the projector len, less light output? bad cut off?). I know Stanley make all the projectors, hopefully they don't stop making clear len.....

Also, the dealer will not replace the RoadBlocker protective film that's on the outside of the headlight

While I bring the car for service, I might as well let them fix the "sewing machine-liked, high pitch whine noise when you depress the gas pedel" problem. Anyone else has similar problem?

Right, I understand the Roadblock doesn't come with the headlights by default. It's really annoying to lose the protective film due to a manufactuer headlight seal defect. Perhaps they could peel off the old one and stick it back on the new one? I could contact Autobahnd. They are the company who put the Roadblock(clear bra) on the headlight. I am afraid they will not cover the loss either. I definitely do not want to involve the insurance company.

i feel ur frustration.. it was not that you did wrong.. it was just a defective headlight but at the same time the dealer is taking responsiblity for it and replacing it. so in the end your losing but thats life.
