Fuel Pump sensor issue

Fuel Pump sensor issue
When I got my 2008 TSX I noticed my fuel gauge drops to a 1/4 after @ 30 miles and then close to 1/2 tank @ 70miles. I just thought that I needed to get use to the idea of driving a 6sp but it didn't seem right since I previously owned a 5sp 2003 RSX.
Took it in for the 1st oil change and mentioned that the issue with the fuel gauge.
They told me that it was a faulty fuel pump sensor , but it's not affecting the mileage but needs to be replaced.
Any thoughts about this? This isn't a common issue with Acura is it? It was one of the 1st 2008 TSX available.

...? wrong forum sir. This is for 2nd gen tsx topics only
anyways, that does seem wierd and I dont think i've hear of a lot of problems with this on the forum. The TSX supposedly has a very accurate fuel guage compared to other cars. I don't know but after 30 miles, my guage is usually still at full and starts to drop quickly after about 35-40.
