On this board Hawks are highly respected and OEM pads are highly ridiculed.

The OEM on my 04 were crappy, the OEM ones on my 06 are great cause i only have 1200 miles on it, and the Hawk replacement ones i put on my 04 were awesome. The only negative on the Hawks it when its cold, they take a couple of stops to "warm up" and you really do need to be careful. I pulled out of the train station and almost hit the car in front of me because he stopped short and i just kept going cause they weren't hot enough to grap yet. Other than that, awesome brake pads. They also produce a little more brake dust but oh well.
