foglight cover gone wrong
foglight cover gone wrong
Hey guys I have installed the HID foglight kit onto my 08 for a month or so. Today I got a machine car wash in gas station. And tonight my girlfriend told me that there are some moisture inside the foglight cover. Damn, I thought it might be due to the installation of the HID fog? What can I do?
If I go to the dealership they might say " well u install some aftermarket stuff so u wont be covered". Is there anyway to fix?
Thanks guys!!!

Did you properly set the bulb in the socket when you installed the new light? If not, don't plan on having the dealership do much.
If the light is cracked, then perhaps you could ask the dealership to "goodwill" the light. This worked for me when my fog cracked 1500 miles after I bought the car.
The only other thing I can think of is the seal around the bulb in the light housing is bad. Highly unlikely, but a possibility. If this is the case, then yes the dealership should correct the situation.
