Fog Lamps
Fog Lamps
Just a quick question.
Got the fog lamps installed today, but they only turn out when the HIDs are on... They stay off with running lights, even when the switch is on ...
Same for everyone?

Does this mean that there is no way to just have the headlights on (regular, no hi-beam) without the fog lights? So no matter what the case, oncoming traffic will see the white light from the headlights, and the yellow lights from the fog lights? If so that seems like such an aesthetic dissapointment. This question is more geared to the upcoming '06 model.
I think there is way to do it. You gotta do some re-wiring!~ For example, samething goes to my 240sx. I have fog lights and they only come on when headlights are on and when hi-beams are on they go off. I seen people re-wire so when their parking lights are on they(fog lights) comes on at the same time.

you can turn off the fog lights any time you want. There is still a fog light switch. However, you can't have the fogs and highbeams on or just the fogs on.

The same concept has gone with the last generations of Accords.

Even the del Sol was the same with the aux lights except it still worked with the highbeams on I believe.
Just pull out the button, cut the "hot" wire, take the wire that's still attached to the button and wire that to a wire that's hot with the ignition in either "Acc" or "on."
