Flat Tire Causes ABS & VSA Lights to Go On
Flat Tire Causes ABS & VSA Lights to Go On
I got a front passenger flat the other day on the highway. It went completely flat and I pulled over and put the donut on. When I re-started the car both the VSA and ABS lights came on and stayed on. I've subsequently put on a new tire but the lights have not gone away. What can I do? Can I disconnect the battery to make the codes go away? If I bought a code scanner could I cancel out the codes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The manual said we should turn off VSA whenever we put the spare wheel on 'cause the spare wheel diameter will makes the computer assumes you're using same sized wheels.
Usually they will go away themselves, but if they don't, then u should take it back to the dealer.
