07 TSX AC Blower motor problems!!!

Hey,

Can anyone help me out on directions with replacing the AC blower motor on my tsx? Im not sure where its located, but I think its under the dash. Mine is not pumping air into the cabin as hard as before and is making funny noises. Can someone help me locate where the blower motor is and maybe give me pointers on how to replace it? Also is this a somewhat simple task? Thank you guys in advance this is a very annoying problem i have to fix on the wifes car soon! Im ordering the part tomorrow. Thank you guys also if you know of a cheap place to get the part please chime in, the best price i found so far is $89. Thanks again guys

Never touched it, so can't help with removal/install. But yes, it is under the dash, passenger's side, below and behind the glove box. If you remove the under dash trim piece in the passenger foot well, you'll see it.

If it is a 2007 Acura TSX, isn't this car still under warranty? Shouldn't the dealer take care of it?

Not under warranty, we must be heavy drivers because we have 52,000 miles lol. We purchased the car new in Jan 07 with 50 miles on it.

Thanks for letting me know the location of it, if anyone has anymore help please let me know! I will be trying to fix it this weekend hopefully, or whenever the part comes in! Thanks again

This is just an idea, but if you've done most of your service at the Acura dealership, maybe they will "goodwill" it for you since you're so close to the warranty period? Hey, it's worth a shot at least
