I fitted some duralast gold pads on the rear last night. I noticed the outer pad on the driver side seems to have wear on the top. Initially I thought the pad was designed like this, but then I compared it to the passenger side rear which was solid all the way .

Ignore this, not an issue. I just removed the back wheel and checked the pads. Seems that Duralast have designed them this way. Meaning drivers side pads have the slant.

Just wondering why the drivers side would have a slant on both inner and out pads like this but passenger side does not?
