Instal went good, the guy at acura said that "its getting too much air" and its causing some fuel sensor or something to go off, which sounded like bull shit to me.

So it threw a CEL? Try to get the code from him. Also make sure the sensors and hosings on the intake are all plugged in correctly and snug in the engine bay.

Which model Injen intake do you have? I know the newer one is sp1431, and has MR Technology:

"These late model vehicles have very sensitive factory a/f ratios, MR Technology will not only allow the intake to be tuned within that factory ratio, but will optimize horsepower and torque gains all around. Through a step down process, MR Technology will regulate the airflow at certain strategic points, ultimately controlling the rate and density. By doing so, the MR Technology process tunes the intake system to avoid the necessity of calibrating MAF sensors. Overall, the MR Technology process was developed in order to compensate for the vast change in technology and the need for safe, reliable performance products."

Even with the old model that didn't have MR Technology, you shouldn't be getting any engine light, and definitly not with the sp1431, I would look over the entire install again, check everything again, even when being very careful, even experienced installers can miss something.

Any update on this? I installed my SP1431 last weekend myself and have no problems with it, but am still curious what came of your situation.
