Went to start my 04 TSX today and found some electrical parts don't work. The wipers don't work in lowest setting, power door locks don't work, the outside temp gauge on dash shows 0 degree. After turning engine on and off for a few minutes, I noticed the outside temp on the dash working and everything else not working, working again. Turned off engine again and the outside temp gauge went to 0 degrees and the wipers (lowest setting) and door locks don't work.

Pulled the fuse in the interior to check on the door locks but it's still good. Couldn't find the turn signal fuse so check all the light fuse in the engine bay and they are good to. Terminals are clean and free of acid.

Any suggestions or help?

 

My guess would be a battery drain - have the battery checked.

 

So I checked all the "mini-fuses" in the inside of the car and engine bay with the following and they are lid up green (fuse are good) on the fuse tester that i used:

Havn't checked the medium to bigger fuses in the engine bay because it got dark but so far all the mini-fuses are ok. I think the battery should be ok because the car cranks up fine and there is no memory lost.

I know the post is old but I'm having the same exact problems... Did you ever find a fix for this, if so please let me know.

 

All I did so far was just disconnect the terminals on the battery, waited 5 minutes, and reconnected everything. One year plus now and so far everything is ok.

Tried the battery terminal removal still nothing. So I have no turn signals but hazard works. Rear driver side window went down by itself and is stuck open, won't go back up.You can hear the switch click when the button is pressed but nothing happens. All other windows work. The main switch won't unlock/lock the doors the driver side switch still locks/unlock all doors. Outside temp on dash is stuck showing nothing but the three dashes, I dont have INT on my wipers but the low and high setting work. Windshield washer pump is dead too. 2004 and I dont even have 70k on it yet.

 

I forgot to mention but my battery terminals were rusted/dirty like crap too. Bought some battery terminal cleaner spray and cleaned it with that before disconnect/reconnecting battery. Doesn't appear to be the problem in your case though. I would try disconnecting the MAIN FUSE and reconnecting it also.

It gets confusing when multiple people post their problems on one thread. I would start a new thread, list the problems with your car, then list what you have done so far.

 

Just like in every case on this thread this problem went away after 1 day. Hopefully it will never come back!
