Hi today when I went to unlock the car door with the alarm, the driver side lock would not go up. So I retried and and it still didnt go up. I opened the door manually by putting the key in. I tried unlocking/locking the door again and the lock still didn't bugde. What do you guys think? Its just the driver side door. I can see the lock budge up but not completely and when I pull it up there is no resistance.

 

I managed to find the answer by searching the threads.

Its the lock actuator, mine just went out a couple weeks ago. Brought it into the dealer the other day and they had the part and fixed it on the spot. Yeah like you mine just stopped working, one minute it was OK next minute it wouldn't work. Now that its fixed I have to break the habit of using my key.
