Cruise Control under 25

I did a search and didn't see it mentioned, but I just got my TSX, and noticed the cruise control button doesn't work when I'm trying to set it at 20. It works just fine for 30 and higher though.

I assume this is because you're supposed to be 'paying attention to driving' in school zones and not use cruise, but when driving on my college campus it protects against a lead foot and a huge speeding ticket. Has anyone else noticed this, and is there any kind of work around?

Yes, the workaround is to pay attention when you drive. how damn big is your campus? 20 miles? Cruise always has a minimum speed.

Can the campus cops ticket you with a fine? Do they have that authority? I'd just watch yourself knowing you need to drive within the speed limits.........

There's a nice 1 mile stretch where you feel like a turtle creeping along at 20 on a 4 lane road that the cops love to pull people over on. And yes, they do hand out tickets. And all of my parents car would cruise at any speed, which is why I asked.

Anyways, I'll just keep a closer eye on the speed then.

Seriously? Wow... any car that i've owned only goes into cruise control above a certain speed too. I think almost all around 25-30mph.
