Crankshaft position sensor code p0335 and limp mode; please help!

please assist me with my 06 tsx 6spd.

I replaced the crankshaft position sensor TWICE so that must not be the problem, because P0335 code still pops up with “crankshaft position sensor A circuit”. it’s the only code right now and every time i reset the code, it comes back and randomly goes into limp mode whenever it wants which causes VSA lights to come on.

any ideas of what it could be?

Since a new sensor did not fix, the fault is likely an open in wiring or connector. See attached troubleshooting procedure.

good luck

Did you ever figure this out? I'm in the middle of figuring it out right now with my 04 tl and currently looking for options. I was told to try a crankshaft position sensor, relearn instructions, process needs to be done, either by a acura scanner or manually with a certain process. Let me know what you figured out.

It was jus 3 different malfunctioned Crankshaft position sensors. I gave it a third go and it works. It’s crazy because I had to try 3 different crankshaft position sensors from autozone I should’ve just went with dealer parts but lesson learned let me know if that fixes it for you keep trying maybe parts were bad for you too

What was the sensor yeast got that ended up working? I'm going tk try and use a real good scanner to give it the relearn procedure but if not I'd like to know which sensor you got so I can maybe start with that one next.

That’s what it’s called, “crankshaft position sensor” yeah the relearn procedure should be first to jus try it out or see what hidden codes popped up with a scanner that can read the hidden codes the scanners that look like rectangles
