I hope we're all talking about the same noise here. I suspect that the problem with mine is something in the clutch pedal itself. The noise is extremely loud in the cabin and I can feel a very slight vibration in the clutch pedal, as if it were merely two pieces of rubber in contact with each other down there somewhere. I haven't had the time to get in there and look for myself, but I can't imagine that the problem I'm experiencing is beyond the inside of the firewall.

Mine is definitely from within the case and has something to do with the clutch disk and pressure plate.

Mine sounding like a spring twang and I could feel it through the pedal. The dealer fixed it by replacing the clutch master cylinder. Of course, the first time I complained about it, all they did was lube up part that goes into the cylinder.

Your issue is definitely different than mine.

You know what the craziest part about this whole thing is to me? The fact that the tecnician keeps saying to me that they've never seen any clutch problems on the TSX before. It apparently isn't an isolated incident and I've had two separate problems with my clutch - first the click, now the squeak. The guy acts (in a 12 year old way) like I'm crazy even after I've gone in and "reproduced" the sound.

Add me to the clutch clicking club. Two clicks on the way down and one click on the way up. Irritating as hell -- almost to the point where I want to break the darned thing.

I've been too lazy / busy to bring the TSX to the dealer. When I finally do, I'm sure I'll have no problem duplicating the problem for them.
