Climate Control Plastic Display Cover

I noticed this weekend that the display cover for my climate control on my non-navi TSX is "peeling" away along the bottom edge where it meets the control buttons. It's like the glue that holds it on has weakened, possibly due to it being summer and the interior of the car being heated up.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this issue. I tried to search, but found no reference. I called the dealership and have an appointment for next month (I don't have a dealership where I live). Does anyone know if they'll replace the unit or try to re-glue the display cover??

Thanks....

I'm having a hard time picturing the problem. Got any pics of it?

If it is "peeling" away and there are not pry marks that they could be suspicious of, then heck yeah they should replace it. I've had my car for 2 years now and no problems and I'm in and around the same area as you.

As you'll see (hopefully) in the picture below, the separation is occuring mostly directly above the "off", "dual", and "recirculation" buttons on the climate control panel. The separation is actually occuring the entire length of the plastic cover; it's just more noticeable/obvious in the middle area.

Hope this helps....

The thread didn't see much discussion, but I wanted to give everyone an update that my climate control unit is going to be replaced under warranty. They at first stated they couldn't identify the problem, but I pressed on the lower portion of the display (in the middle) to show them that it would "stick" and then pop back out. The tech had an almost surprised look on his face but agreed it was a problem and it would be replaced. They are also going to replace the front passenger door speaker.

They did turn my rotors and replaced the front pads under warranty. I still have a slight vibration between about 58-62 mph that they have said is "normal operation". I'll have to keep pursuing this one I guess...
