Check emission systems and 4th cylinder misfire code

I just bought an Acura TSX 2007 2 weeks ago from a dealer. Several days ago I had a check gas cap notification. The next start it was misfiring and sputtering terribly. The next day I got a check in mission system notification. Took to O'Reilly's got code po304 and 61-1. My next turn and advice was to switch the plugs to see if you're getting the same misfire on a different cylinder to see if it is the ignition coil? And then go from there. I've been in touch with the dealer he seems to be trying to do the right thing but unable to get me into the mechanic until next week. I was told by both that I could drive the car and that it was safe and would not harm the engine. I totally disagree. Am I wrong? I just replaced my F-150 as the exact same thing happened I replace the plugs and coils the next day I got a huge hole in the side of my engine so this is my replacement car and I am just sick about it. Please advise. Just a single mom trying to maintain a reliable car without getting swindled. Any advice or suggestions is very welcomed! Thanks so much in advance!
