CD Player stops reading Disc When hot

When I have been using the CD player for along time (read: It gets hot) it will stop reading the CD. When it stops reading the CD it just flashes the "DISC" error. I have tested this with both retail and burnt CDs. It is of value to note that it happens on the higher number tracks (12+)

Anyone experienced this problem?

However, I fogot to add, I had to replace my center console because the light blew out. The new one's fine though..

Take it back for warranty!!! Just make sure you tell them that you only use REAL CDs.

Not me, even though it got real hot last summer (110 F) up in San Jose.

Same problem

Well, looks like I just had the same problem (will play for about 10 minutes, then starts to skip, then gives the DISC error and won't play at all). None of my CD-R's will play anymore either. Have any of you had problems with CD-R's playing?

FWIW I had the same problem and also had my CDC replaced under warranty.

Just in case anyone else is having the same problem... take it to the dealer!
